Problems dealing with Palestine and with the sending of chalutzim from the United States to Palestine were discussed here at the 11th annual convention of Masada, the Young Zionist Organization of America, which concluded here last night. Delegates from fifty cities attended the gathering.
Natanel Cohen, executive director of the organization, warned that if the Anglo-American inquiry committee decides against the establishment of a Jewish state, the Masada would throw picket lines around every British consulate in the country, and would stage demonstrations in every state capital.
It was announced at the conference that about 100 discharged American service men were preparing to go to Palestine to study at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and the Haifa Technical School. Both institutions are accredited by the Veterans Administration, and the veterans will attend the colleges under the auspices of the G.I. Bill of Rights.
