One hundred Jewish families from the Foehrenwald camp will be admitted into the Argentine for permanent settlement during the next three months by decision of President Juan D. Peron.
Gen. Peron told a Jewish delegation which included Dr. Henry Shoshkes, representing HIAS, and Dr. Ezequiel Zabotinsky, head of the Jewish Peronist organization, that he was “happy to contribute to the ending of the shameful and tragic epoch of the camps in Germany.”
