One in two Israeli believes the Gaza Strip withdrawal will cause a major rift in the country, a poll found. According to the study, released Wednesday by Reconciliation Order, a private organization that works to bring together Israelis of different political persuasions, 55 percent support the Gaza plan while 29 percent oppose it, but 50 percent believe it will cause a schism between the political left and right.
