One of Israel’s chief rabbis is suspected of illicitly receiving free benefits. The office of Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger denied wrongdoing Wednesday in the case, which originated last Passover, when Metzger and his family were guests of the David Citadel Hotel in Jerusalem.
