One thousand tourists visited Prague’s Old-New Synagogue as it reopened after mid-August floods. Prague’s Jewish community allowed free access to the site last Friday so visitors could see the extent of the damage. The chairman of the community, Tomas Jelinek, said the water damage would take six months to fix.
