Hermann Aumer, one-time Commissioner for Jewish Affairs in the Bavarian Government, was convicted of perjury here today and sentenced to one year in prison. Aumer was Commissioner from 1945-46 when he was removed by the American Military Government which had discovered that during the war Aumer had served as a vice-consul in Munich of the Rumanian Fascist government of Marshal Antonescu.
