The flow of tourist between Israel and Jordan has been primarily one way – east – since the two countries opened their borders in October.

Some 20,000 Israelis have crossed the Jordan River to visit their Arab neighbor. In contrast, only several hundred Jordanians have traveled to Israel, according to the Israeli Port Authority.
