A residence which the local Jewish philanthropist Sigmund Samuel donated to the provincial government will become the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, according to a decision of the provincial cabinet here.
Mr. Samuel has also presented to the public a magnificent collection of Canadian history and art and has made other notable contributions to science and research in Toronto.
