A bill providing for an anti-discrimination commission to oversee administration of Ottawa’s FEPC and Fair Accommodation Practices Act has been passed by the Ontario provincial legislature.

The Legislative Assembly voted $100,000 for a budget for a commission of three or more members which will make recommendations to improve the administration of the anti-bias legislation and to develop educational programs explaining the legislation to the public.
