Premier John Robarts of Ontario told the Ontario Legislature this weekend that he planned to take up the problem of a flood of anti-Semitic and anti-Negro mailings to major Ontario cities at the Provincial-Dominion conference at the end of this month.
The Premier said he felt that the Attorneys-General of the various provinces affected by the hate mailings should consult on ways to cope with such agitation through mailings. The Premier also told the legislators that a federal law, enforced by the provinces, should be the answer to the problem.
