Outstanding members of the Metropolitan Opera Company will give a special program as one of the features of the annual all-star show and fashion revue of the Israel Orphan Asylum, Saturday evening, March 23, in Madison Square Garden.
Former City Court Justice Gustave Hartman, founder and president of the institution, declared the operatic presentation will be one of the highlights of the performance. Judging by the advance sale of tickets, an attendance of more than 21,000 is indicated, including many prominent national, state and local figures.
Proceeds will go toward the maintenance of the two homes of the institution at 274 Second street, Manhattan, and 2532 Dickens avenue, Far Rockaway, L. I.
