The Neue Volkszeitung, German American Socialist weekly, will begin the serial publication of Lion Feuchtwanger’s “Die Geschwister Oppenheim,” beginning with the issue of July 14. Special arrangements have been made with the author and the Amsterdam publisher of the original German edition. The book was issued in this country under the title of “The Oppermanns,” because a German family named Oppenheim objected to use of the name in the novel, contending it was a typically “Aryan” name.
