Opponents in Germany of plans to build a national Holocaust memorial in Berlin are calling for a third round of design competition for the controversial project. Critics of the current large-scale design also want a different location than the site reserved for the monument south of the Brandenburg Gate. The objections to the current plan could cause additional delays to the project, which was first proposed a decade ago.
