Sums totaling $1,400 have been contributed by the relief committee of the Order Sons of Zion toward the Passover funds of various camps throughout the country, according to an announcement by Heinrich Abramowitz, general secretary of the order.
The funds have been distributed among needy members to enable them to purchase provisions for the Passover holidays. Benjamin Fine is the chairman of the relief committee.
The formation of two new camps was announced at the banquet marking the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Moses Hess Camp of Philadelphia, at which Grand Master Joseph Kraemer, Isaac Allen and Abramowitz were the guest speakers. Almost 100 new members were installed, among them Judge William M. Lewis, a vice president of the Zionist Organization of America.
