An organization to fight discrimination in housing has been established in the Hartford area, it was announced here yesterday.
The group, known as the Greater Hartford Committee on Discrimination in Housing, is supported by some 25 religious, veterans, welfare, educational, fraternal and business groups. It will study the causes, nature and effects of religious and racial discrimination in public and private housing and will recommend remedial legislation to the State Legislature.
