A group of former Nazi organizations have formed an “action committee” and are preparing to launch a lobbying campaign in behalf of compensation for “victims” of denazification procedures.
The Nazi actions unit called for elimination of all legislation in post-war Germany which “discriminate” against former Nazis and annulment of all sentences imposed on convicted Nazis. It asked compensation on the pattern of the West German compensation law for victims of the Hitler regime. Among the groups represented on the action committee is HIAG, which assists former members of the SS in need.
