An original dramatic presentation written and directed by Dorcy Schary, to celebrate the 28th anniversary of the State of Israel, will be presented by the American Zionist Federation on May 4 at Carnegie Hall it was announced by Mrs. Faye Schenk, AZF president.
Honoring Israel’s anniversary and the American Bicentennial, Schary, the well-known theatrical producer and playwright, has titled his program “Mutuality”–a presentation of Israel and the American Jewish interdependence and Jewish contributions to the American way of life, indicating the similarities between America’s early pioneers and the pioneers who built the State of Israel.
Mrs. Schenk called on the New York Jewish community to show its solidarity and support for Israel by attending the May 4 performance “to wish Israel, American Jewry and Jews everywhere, a happy twenty-eighth anniversary.”
