In his will recently filed for probation, Milton L. Livingston, former president of the Continental Baking Corp., left $25,000 to the Chicago Home for Jewish Orphans.
Mr. Livingston, who died of a heart ailment at his home at 270 Park avenue on July 17th, provided that the Chicago bequest be “applied for the general purposes of the said home.”
He was born in Chicago and was graduated from the Armour Institute of Technology and the University of Michigan.
Miss Helen L. Gates, Mr. Livingstone’s sister, states that he “always had a soft spot in his heart for the orphans and it was customary for him to send various presents to the children on numerous occasions.”
