The ORT advisory council has announced an expanded and accelerated vocational program in the U.S. zones of Germany and Austria, following a two-day conference here of field workers from these areas.
The Council decided to increase the number of trainees in the American zone from 10,000 to 12,000 during the current year and also approved plan for the establishment of three ORT schools which will be centrally located outside the DP camps in Germany.
