A majority of the Jewish refugees in Lithuania are between 18 and 40 years old, it has been ascertained in a survey by the Wilno committee of the World ORT Federation. As a result of the survey, the ORT committee has initiated a broad program of aid through work and vocational training. Workshops established by the committee are producing underwear, clothing and knitwear articles, and are employing a considerable number of refugees in Wilno as well as the provinces.
