The Dr. Aron Syngalowski Vocational Training Center, the Middle Easts newest, largest and most modern vocational training school, was opened here today at ceremonies attended by Labor Minister Mordecai Namir, local ORT officials and a delegation from the American Women’s ORT which raised the major portion of the funds needed for construction.
Named in memory of the late president of the World ORT Union, the center–an eleven building complex–contains workshops equipped with the most modern electrical equipment, metal working and toolmaking machines, blacksmith’s tools and equipment for radio work. The center is set on a ten-acre site in southern Tel Aviv.
