Three workshops and one training farm for Jewish youths have been established by the Ort organization in Algeria, it was reported in a cable received here today by Dr. David Lvovitch, vice-president of the Ort Union.
The cable stated that other Ort workshops have been functioning in Algeria since their establishment twenty months ago. They were cut off from the Ort office in Marseilles following the complete occupation of France by the Nazis and were unable to obtain their monthly allotment, but managed to continue under the chairmanship of Dr. Andre Levi-Valensi.
