At the opening session of the conference of the ORT which is being held here, a recommendation of the Medem memorial committee to erect a “People’s House” to be named after Medem, the recently demised Bundist leader was adopted. Representatives will be sent to America, it was decided, to enlist support for the movement. Forty-four delegates representing more than 4,000 members were present.
