Dr. Aaron Syngalowski, chairman of the executive committee of the World ORT Union, sailed for Israel from Venice yesterday. He will confer with the Israeli Government about projects for a large-scale ORT vocational training program in Israel.
Dr. Syngalowski’s trip is made following a decision by the central board of his organization to give full support to the upbuilding of Israel’s skilled labor force. This program will include the transfer to Israel of a number of ORT schools for Europe’s DP camps, along with the equipment and teaching personnel.
