Orthodox Jews in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn protested after a member of their community was shot to death by police. Officers fired at least 12 shots Monday at Gideon Busch after he struck a police sergeant with a hammer, police officials said. Several hundred members of the community later gathered in the streets, some chanting, “Jewish blood is not cheap.”
