The Jewish community in Warsaw, the largest Jewish community in Europe, will be split, according to a decision of Orthodox leaders affiliated with the Agudath Israel.

Following the decision of the Kehillah to assume the supervision of the Schechita, to which Agudah leaders were opposed, the Agudath Israel decided to take steps toward the establishment of a separate Orthodox Kehillah which will introduce an independent schechita system.
