The OSE plans to extend its activities in Israel, including an expanded medical aid program for new immigrants and installation of convalescent centers for adolescents and children, Drs. Leon Gurevitch and A. Shiffman, OSE directors in Paris and Geneva respectively, declared at a press conference today.
Dr. Nissan Wolfe, OSE director in Israel, told the news parley that the organization’s budget in this country this year is $300,000. Five thousand young Israelis will receive OSE care this year, he said, adding that last year 20,000 days of convalescent care were provided by OSE institutions in the country.
