Ossip Dymov, a well known Jewish and Russian play wright and writer, was announced today as the winner of the first award to be made by the “Morris Eisenman Literary Fund” which will sponsor the publication of books in Yiddish by prominent Jewish writers. The Fund will publish Dymov’s “My Memoirs.”
The award will be made from time to time by the Central Jewish Culture Organization and a committee of Jewish writers will be in charge of selecting what works are to be published.
