Martin Gang, an attorney and Jewish communal leader, was installed today as chairman of the board of regents of the Immaculate Heart College, becoming the first Jew to head the 50-year-old Catholic girls institution. Mr. Gang is active in the American Jewish Committee and the Jewish Federation-Council of Greater Los Angeles.
