Israel’s Ambassador here, Yaacov Herzog, today was granted an earned degree of doctor of laws by Ottawa University here. His thesis was on “The Evolution of United Nations Thought in the Field of Human Rights.” The university expects to publish the dissertation soon in book form.
Dr. Herzog received the additional honor of the highly coveted award from the Bar Association of Paris, which is granted through Ottawa University. He was given that award in connection with his legal research. In addition to these works, he is the author of an English translation and commentary on parts of the Mishnah.
