That Polish representatives came to Paris to confer with Otto Kahn, of Kuhn, Loeb and Co., relative to a loan to Poland and that Kahn demanded guarantees regarding the position of the Jews there, is a report printed extensively in the French press.
Following the failure of the Polish representative to give such guarantees, the negotiations were suspended.
The French press also reports that the Rothschild allied banks also refused to participate in any loan to Poland and that the negotiations with the J.P. Morgan Company also fell through.
