“Our first duty as a nation is to help these people perhaps not only in your own country, but if possible in the Empire,” Defense Coordination Minister Thomas Inskip, commenting on the situation of Germany’s persecuted Jewry, declared in a speech tonight. Sir Thomas also expressed hope that other nations will cooperate in helping the German Jews.
