The Jewish population of Palestine has increased from 365,000 to 415,000 during the year, it was announced by A. Dobkin, director of immigration of the Jewish Agency for Palestine. He revealed that only 228 persons had re-emigrated in that period and that 121 illegal entrants had been deported.
