The recent resurgence of vigorous boycott activities against the Jews in Germany, particularly in the vicinity of Frankfort – am – Main, was ascribed by German authorities to over-zealous obedience by Nazis to party orders, The London Times said yesterday.

The Times stated that the German authorities had so advised the British consulate general at Frankfort-am-Main, declaring that the government disapproved of the measures because they interfered with the regime’s economic program.

Nazi headquarters had ordered peaceful picketing of Jewish stores in order to warn Nazi party members against patronizing them, it was said. The pickets, however, exceeded their orders and interfered with the general public, creating much disorder when police sought to prevent this.
