Meyer Weisgal, president of the Weizmann Institute reported today, on his return from a visit to Britain, that he had completed arrangements with the Oxford University Press for publication in English of the letters and archives of Dr. Chaim Weizmann, Israel’s first president, covering a period of 60 years.
Mr. Weisgal, who also visited other European countries and the United States, said he had discussed with scientists plans for an appropriate memorial for the late Dr. J. Robert Oppenheimer, the noted physicist who was a member of the Weizmann Institute board of governors and an honorary fellow of the Institute.
