Ozer Bumashny, a founder and director of Di Presse, a Yiddish daily, died here today at the age of 78 after a long illness. Born in Russia, he was active in the Jewish self-defense in that country during the Czarist pogroms on Jews. He was administrator of the daily until his retirement in 1955.
