“Ozet circles,” agencies of the Ozet, the Jewish Society for Settling Jews on the Land, were formed at the Soviet institutions abroad, it was learned here today.
The purpose of these Ozet circles will be to establish contact with the Jewish institutions abroad, to give out correct information concerning the Jewish colonization plan in Russia and to collect funds for the Ozet.
The Ozet is now negotiating with the Soviet government concerning facilitating the granting of visas to the delegates of Jewish organizations abroad who are desirous of coming to Russia to study the colonization work. It is understood that the Ozet is now considering a plan to send a delegation to European countries and America.
General Budeny, famous Russian cavalry leader, has joined the Ozet, it was announced.
