Lionel S. Reiss, who has had showings of his work in American cities across the continent is having an exhibit of oil paintings, etchings, and water colors of Europe’s vanishing ghettos at the Y.W.H.A., 31 West 110th street.
The artist has depicted in his works more than the characteristic features of the typical Jew. His studies include types which he found in his travels through the Jewish quarters of Jerusalem, Turkey, Greece, Spain, Belgium, Holland and Italy.
