Paintings by the Israeli contemporary artist Pinhas Shaar went on exhibit yesterday at the Fifth Ave. branch of the American Bank and Trust Co. The paintings were assembled from various Israeli and European private collections by J. Komkommer, chairman of the board of directors of I. Komkommer and Zoon, Belgium. Mr. Shaar was flown here from Israel for the opening and his exhibition welcomed by Saul Kagan, bank president. Israeli diplomats were present at the opening. The exhibition is the bank’s 10th. Some 22,000 persons visited earlier ones.
