The sentence of one month in jail, imposed by the Haifa city court on 42 Arab villagers for preventing Jews from ploughing the land at Jidra, is being made an issue by the Palestine Arab Executive, along the same lines as the Atuleh incident.

The National Political League, an organization known as anti-Zionist, circulated in the London press today a telegram from the Palestine Arab Executive commenting on the Haifa Court sentence.

The Palestine Arab Executive claims in its telegram that the Arab Gowana tribe has occupied and owned the land at Jidra for three centuries. The Executive requests the civil administration not to interiere in legal matters.

The telegram of the Palestine Arab Executive also protests against the decision of the Palestine High Court concerning the elections to the Supreme Council. “Unless the Palestine government ceases to play with the religious sentiments of the people a “revolution” is certain, the telegram says.
