Long-concealed divergencies and rivalries among the varicus Palestine Arab parties were publicly revealed today by Dr. Hussein Balidi and Auni Bey Abdul Hadi in statements in the Arab press declaring that their parties, the Reform Party and Istiqlal, respectively, have withdrawn their support from Nussa el Alami, who is the unofficial representative of Palestine Arabs in the league of Arab Nations.
At the same time, the two Arab leaders revealed that their groups are with-drawing from the “Umma Fund,” the recently formed Arab counterpart of the Jewish National Fund, which was organized, originally, by Abdul Hadi’s party. Their statements would seem to preclude any possibility of a united Palestine Arab representation, which has been the cherished hope of some foreign politicians.
