A country-wide strike in sympathy with the Syrian nationalist demonstrations was voted today by a conference of Arab leaders. No date for the strike was fixed.

The parley also decided to proclaim a boycott of French products in the Holy land.

The action followed declaration of a strike by Arab leaders in Transjordan, British mandated territory bordering in Palestine, in sympathy with the Syrian demonstrations against French rule.

It was reported here that Sultan El-at-Rash, after visiting extremists in Transjordan, agreed to return to Syria to lead the rebel force.
