The possibility of Palestine becoming a source for the supply of oil fuel for the British Navy, was raised today in the House of Commons in a question by Sir Alfred Knox.

In reply Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister, Secretary for the Colonies, said that the Palestine Government would readily consider favorably any business-like proposition regarding the prospecting for oil and Palestine and for the development of any promising fields that may be discovered.
