The Palestine film censorship board today prohibited the showing in the Holy Land of the film “Dream of My People,” finished last year just before the death of the late cantor, Joseph Rosenblatt. The exhibition was prohibited despite the fact that the film had already been shown in Tel Aviv. No reason was assigned by the censors for their action.
Cantor Rosenblatt, one of the great cantors of all times, died in Jerusalem after a heart attack immediately after completion of the picture in which he was starred.
