The renewed warfare between the French and the Druze forces in Syria has made it necessary for the Palestine frontier force to be on constant watch to guarantee the safety of the frontier.

The frontier force is busily engaged in disarming groups of Druzes who flee to Palestine. It was stated that special barracks will be constructed on the Palestine side for the internment of the fleeing rebels and many of the deserting soldiers of the French Foreign Legion who surrendered to the Palestine authorities.
