Commander Oliver locker-Lampson, Conservative, Announced today that he does not intend to proceed at present with his bill in the House of Commons for granting Palestinian citizenship to Jews in Europe. The bill, which was scheduled for a second reading next Tuesday, has been shelved indefinitely.
Commander Locker-Lampson stated that, having secured the good will of the house for the bill, he was now anxious to secure agreement in government quarters and elsewhere for immediate provision of passport facilities to Jewish refugees on the lines of the convention adopted last February by the inter-governmental conference in Geneva.
