A total of 51,180 cases of citrus fruits, comprising 5,312 cases of oranges, 37,607 grapefruit, 217 of lemons and 44 of tangerines, have been exported up to Nov. 5.
The export season opened in November a week ahead of last year’s regulation date as a result of tests which were made and which revealed that oranges were more mature this season than they had been during the last few years.
