Claims for compensation for death of relatives and injuries arising from last year’s disturbances will be heard tomorrow and Tuesday by a commission comprising Commander Bodilly and A.F. Nathan.
The commission will sit in Chief Magistrate’s Court. Seventeen summonses to Jewish claimants have been issued. They will be obliged to produce evidence and present their claims as though they were appearing at court hearings. The commission will not consider property claims.
