Palestine could absorb an additional 5,000,000 persons if its natural resources were developed, F. Julius Fohs, Houston, Texas, geologist and expert on Palestine’s natural resources, said today at the first annual conference of the American Society for the Hebrew Institute of Technology. A scholarship fund of $10,000 in honor of William Fondiller, honorary president of the Society, was announced.
