The Palestine Electric Corporation has completed negotiations for the purchase of a 75,000-kilowatt generator from West Germany, it was learned today. The equipment purchase is being financed by long-term credits. It represents the first major industrial purchase by Israel in West Germany outside the framework of the reparations agreement.
